I personally find hunter EXTREMELLY boring! I am only level 21, so any help getting to 30 in quickest way would be much appreciated.
As for your question on Summoning, as soojn as you can do spiders *, until you can do the Snails, then do them til 16, after that, stick with granite crabs till 20 (that is what im doing), but this depends on whether you have green charms or not, if you do, do mosquitos, if not keep doing crabs, this is what i plan on doing anyway.
As for travel time, here are a few things you could do:
1. wear nothing if you are running - preserve energy
2. take energy pots, or those stackable candy (cant remember name, but they are purple)
3. use teleports to fally to get back quicker, tablets even better
4. move your house to Taverley, and teleport there.

I generally run and telly back though, as it is cheaper

* with spiders, make some specials scrolls, these spawn red spider eggs, collect these and sell for profit!
